Last week in November - Part 2

After Monday things didn't slow down, but I didn't take as many pictures.  Every morning after prayer meeting we met in the Visitor's Center West theater for Live Nativity rehearsal.  Then we went back to FM for more decorating and greenhouse work.  Tuesday night was Messiah practice.  I'm getting a lot of singing practice.  And the choir directors really know what they are doing.  We are getting voice lessons along with choir practice.

Wednesday we decorated Carthage.  The site missionaries served us hot chocolate and banana bread.
After work  my quilt committee met and we finished piecing the quilt together. It turned out pretty good.  Gideon and I read some stories on Facetime.
Wednesday night was Light Up the Tree practice and Mission Training. The topic was how to light up our family while we are on our mission.  Any suggestions?

Takes two.

Thursday at work we put together the left over wreathes and swags and delivered them to all of the FM missionaries and the head of departments.  That evening the mission Christmas caroled around the town square at Carthage.

Friday I worked with Dee changing out filters.  We see some pretty interesting basements.

Filters

Over 200 filters need replaced every other month.

November ended with a drive to Carthage to be trained for Sunday, and our weekly shopping trip to Walmart in Keokuk.  One thing we've learned on our mission is to shop once a week.  I can't believe we've been here two months.  We've learned too much for it to have only been that little time.  And still so much to look forward to.  Just a reminder, this isn't a proselyting mission like the young people do.  This is pure service.  And pure Joy.
