Sunday we got to serve in the Visitor's Center. 11% of visitors to church history sites are not members of the church. I talked to a couple from Iowa who were part of the 11%. Their comments centered around what a wonder it was that the city was built up so quickly and then the Saints were forced to abandon it. But the church is forward looking, and they simply went on to Utah and built again.
Monday - We have been in Nauvoo for one month, and it's Dee's birthday. We invited our first district over for Family Home Evening and cake and ice-cream.
It's still cold so we did greenhouse work, cleaning, dejunking, and repotting plants. We also pulled some things from Lyon's Garden. We had eggplant for dinner.
